Celeste of East Granby, CT asked us to install an epoxy garage floor using color flakes. The floor was in good shape without any significant cracks or problems.
We started by grinding the floor to remove all of the grease, dirt and contaminants as well as providing an excellent surface for the epoxy to key into. After a thorough cleaning and vacuuming we coated the floor with Elite Crete E100 PT4 light grey pigmented epoxy. While the epoxy was wet we broadcast 1/4″ color flakes to rejection all over the floor.
The following day the excess flakes were removed and the floor was lightly sanded and vacuumed. We then applied a coat of Elite Crete PT1 clear epoxy.
Celeste was a delightful client and we look forward to working for her again in the future.
