Elite Concrete Systems uses Polymer ColorFlakes from Torginol in many of our epoxy garage floors. Polymer ColorFlakes are also known as decorative vinyl color chips, flakes, or fleck. They are specially formulated paint aggregates that can enhance the appearance of seamless, resin-based chip/flake floors. They can be used with epoxy, polyurethane, MMA, polyaspartic, polyurea, and other flooring systems.
We start out by putting down a base coat of epoxy. Then we broadcast small colored paint chips into the wet surface that soak in and create a hard surface, similar to the fibers in fiberglass, that is both durable and attractive.
