Non-Ferrous Metal Surfaces
Non-ferrous metal surfaces can be coated with MicroGuard® AD95 Corrosion Protector Clear Treatment. This can protect most non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, and stainless steel, from environmental contamination. This is a low-solids surface enhancer and protectant that can be used in the hospitality, medical, and restaurant industries.
Concrete and Masonry
MicroGuard® can also be used to protect concrete and other masonry surfaces, such as brick, decorative stone, pavers, stucco, and concrete/polymer blends. MicroGuard® can be used on both interior and exterior surfaces and in horizontal and vertical applications.
MicroGuard® AD702 Sealer can penetrate deeply into concrete surfaces and fill the concrete capillaries. The sealer will not saponify. MicroGuard® AD703 Concrete Clear Treatment is applied after the AD702 Sealer as part of a complete system.
Graffiti Protection
Graffiti is an ongoing problem for many business owners. MicroGuard® AD00 is a high-performance surface treatment that can make it easier to remove paint, ink, magic marker, and crayon from stainless steel or non-ferrous metals, fiberglass, concrete, painted surfaces, and signs. It is also resistant to chemicals, solvents, acid, and alkali exposure and will not break down from UV exposure. MicroGuard® AD00 can be used on interior and exterior walls, painted metal, bathrooms, benches, elevators, painted or bare masonry, concrete, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metal.
Skid Protection
The MicroGuard®/MicroGrip™ Anti-Skid Floor System can reduce slipping hazards in kitchens, automotive repair bays, public stairs and walkways, handicapped ramps, and other places. It performs better than other anti-skid floor systems when combined with clear siloxane floor treatments. MicroGrip™ Anti-Skid Media provides better traction and chemical and abrasion resistance for concrete, tile, and terrazzo floors. It is easy to clean and maintain and will not allow mold to grow. Since it is clear, it maintains the floor’s color.
HVAC/R Units
MicroGuard® HVAC/R protective treatments can be used on heating and air conditioning equipment, fins, coils, tubes, fans, and cabinets, either before or after installation. They retard corrosion to extend the life of equipment and maintain good air flow. The inorganic cured film does not allow mold to grow. HVAC/R units that have been treated with MicroGuard® operate more efficiently and can reduce energy costs.
Tile Surfaces
MicroGuard® Tile Surface Sealer is a crystal clear finish that can protect tile, terrazzo, stone, and other hard surfaces from abrasion, chemical attack, and staining. It reacts with the floor to provide superior strength, durability, and wear resistance. The treatment also repels water and dirt for easier maintenance. Grout lines are sealed to eliminate odors.
